The tools I use. Take whatever's useful.

AI tools and models

  • Claude Code. For building.
  • Claude. For thinking and writing.
  • GitHub Copilot. At work, because policies.

I don't hate other models. This just works for me right now.

My agent setup

  • Gus, Edna and Donna. My agent team, running in Claude Code.
  • Skill folders. Passive agents: they sleep until I open the folder.
  • Donna. The exception. Several times a day she sends my schedule via Telegram and does housekeeping: mail, calendar, tasks.
  • Things MCP server. Connects Things 3 to my agents. Donna adds to-dos for me. Still feels like magic.

Apps

  • Things 3. My to-dos.
  • Ghostty. My terminal.
  • VS Code and WebStorm. For manual dev. Less and less, now that agents do most of the coding.
  • Chrome and Safari. Any browser works. Chrome at work, Safari at home.
  • Telegram. How I talk to Donna, wherever I am.
  • Audible. So, so many books while traveling.

  • MacBook Pro M3 Pro, 36 GB. Personal.

  • Studio Display. Just the one.
  • iPad mini + Apple Pencil Pro. Extra screen, and for drawing.
